The modern formation of Qualia Wines launched in 2009, however its historical roots can be traced back to 1887 with the earliest viticulturalists in the region.

The term ‘Qualia’ is Latin, meaning ‘of what kind’. It refers to the perceived sensations of conscious encounters and has been defined as the “phenomenal properties of experience.” We believe that every sip of wine should be an enjoyable discovery of harmonious sensations.
